Thanksgiving and the puppy

This Thanksgiving, Dan, Wythe, Rebecca and I all headed up to Dunstable to celebrate the holiday. Food, friends family, and the hot tub alone were pulls enough, but only a couple days before Thanksgiving Aunt Kap picked up their new flat coated retriever puppy. Not surprisingly, most of my photographs are of the little fuzzy creature. He is currently unnamed, so if you have any suggestions fire away.

One of the first things Rebecca and I did was try to take pictures, but puppies make that difficult.

Later, we took the puppy on a walk.

The woods are apparently pretty awesome if you're a puppy. Everything is either a toy or food. Or both.

He would dash into a pile of leaves or chew on a pinecone and then race to catch up with everyone else.

By the time we got back, he was exhausted.

But pretty soon he was exploring again.
Why is my bowl empty??

We also had fun spending time with family and friends. But apparently they are not cute enough to take photos of. So you'll just have to trust me on that.

I did, however, take a picture of the chickens running around the yard. Their feathers are growing in rather nicely now that the rooster isn't around to pluck them out.
